Stafford Farrell founded Essential Gardens landscaping company in 1994. He manages a garden and landscaping team in Dublin on a full time basis and specialises in the landscaping requirements of Brian O’Hara’s designed gardens and partial garden makeovers. Because it is a smaller sized company, best practice and quality control are strengths he can guarantee and is proud of. In addition he also manages garden maintenance for clients.

In 2006 Essential Gardens teamed up with renowned garden designer Brian O’Hara a respected member of The Garden and Landscape Designers Association of Ireland (GLDA). Brian’s talent was recognised at Bloom when he became twice Silver Medal Winner at the "Bloom In The Park 2007 and 2008".
Working in conjunction with each other for the past three years, Stafford and Brian firmly believe in completing their joint projects as promptly as possible with continuous work on site and constant contact with the client.

The benefit for you the client is that you can secure the expertise of both essential gardens and Brian O’Hara Garden Designer but deal with them as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for your garden design and landscaping requirements. The initial meeting involves Brian meeting with the client onsite. Once the project design has been agreed Brian and Stafford liase closely on the logistics of the landscaping requirements, keeping in constant contact with the client.
